Get To Know Me Better
About Kari
Healing the nervous system through gentle, trauma-informed care—for infants, children, teens, and women.
For over 28 years, Kari has helped people move out of survival mode, release stored stress, and reconnect with their body’s natural ability to heal. Her work blends bioenergetics, craniosacral therapy, visceral manipulation, lymphatic balancing, and somatic practices to support emotional, physical, and energetic well-being.
A Trauma-Informed Philosophy
Every session Kari offers is guided by these core principles:
Safety first — the nervous system heals only when it feels safe
Less force, more listening — gentle touch allows deeper change
The body holds memory — emotions, tension, and experiences are stored physically
Connection creates healing — attunement, presence, and compassion matter
Everyone’s pace is honored — no rushing, no pushing beyond capacity
This approach helps infants settle, children regulate, and women reconnect with themselves in deeply meaningful ways.
A Gentle, Nervous System–Focused Approach to Whole-Body Healing
Kari is a Natural Health Practitioner specializing in trauma-informed mind–body healing for people of all ages. Her approach supports emotional regulation, physical comfort, and deep internal safety by working directly with the nervous system.
She helps:
Infants & toddlers experiencing feeding challenges, birth tension, digestive discomfort, or sleep issues
Children & teens navigating ADHD, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, sensory overload, headaches, growing pains, and sports-related tension
Women in all stages moving through chronic stress, hormonal shifts, anxiety, fatigue, digestive issues, trauma patterns, and nervous system exhaustion
Kari’s work is grounded, intuitive, and deeply compassionate. Her sessions help clients release tension, feel more regulated, and reconnect with their body’s innate ability to heal.
Kari’s Path to Healing Work
Kari began her journey into natural health in her early 20s while navigating profound grief after losing her husband. Traditional medical and therapeutic approaches offered little relief from the emotional and physical pain she carried.
A chance introduction to holistic healing became a turning point. Through mindful movement, breathwork, somatic practices, and hands-on treatments, she discovered the power of the nervous system—and how deeply emotional pain is stored within the body.
This experience ignited a lifelong dedication to understanding trauma, the mind–body connection, and how gentle touch can facilitate profound change.
For nearly three decades, Kari has supported thousands of clients through physical tension, emotional overwhelm, developmental challenges, and major life transitions. Her work is rooted in one belief:
The body is not broken.
It’s protecting you.
And with the right support, it knows how to heal.
A Space to Heal, Regulate, and Feel Safe Again
Whether supporting an infant integrating birth tension, a teenager overwhelmed by big emotions, or a woman navigating stress and hormonal shifts, Kari provides a grounded, compassionate environment for healing.
Her goal is simple:
Help people feel at home in their bodies—at every age and stage.
✨ Your body knows the way back to balance. Kari helps create the space for it. ✨
