MORE ABOUT EACH MODALITY

  • Breathwork involves guided sessions where I instructs you on specific breathing patterns. These sessions can be gentle and meditative, or more intense. By altering your breathing, you can influence your body’s physiology, promoting relaxation, altering your state of consciousness, or stimulating emotional and psychological healing.

Breathwork is used in various settings, including therapy, meditation, yoga, stress management, and personal development. It's often employed as a complementary therapy for conditions like PTSD, depression, chronic pain, and trauma.

Breathwork offers a wide range of benefits, including:

    • Stress Reduction: Helps calm the nervous system and reduce anxiety.

    • Emotional Release: Can bring suppressed emotions to the surface, allowing for healing and release.

    • Improved Focus and Clarity: Enhances mental clarity and concentration.

    • Increased Energy: Boosts oxygen levels in the body, increasing vitality and energy.

    • Spiritual Growth: Many forms of breathwork aim to deepen self-awareness and promote spiritual development.

  • Hypnotherapy is a therapeutic technique that uses hypnosis to help individuals achieve a heightened state of focused awareness, often referred to as a trance. In this state, a person is more open to suggestions and can explore thoughts, feelings, and memories that might be hidden from their conscious mind.

The purpose of hypnotherapy is to help individuals address various issues, such as stress, anxiety, pain, phobias, and certain habits like smoking or overeating. During a session, the therapist guides the person into a relaxed state, then uses positive suggestions, guided imagery, and other techniques to help them work through their challenges or make desired changes.

  • Visceral Massage, also known as Visceral Manipulation, is a specialized therapeutic technique that focuses on the internal organs (or viscera) of the body, such as the liver, intestines, stomach, and kidneys. The practice involves gentle manual manipulation of these organs through the abdominal wall to improve their function and overall health.

The goal of Visceral Massage is to restore normal movement and function of the organs by addressing restrictions, adhesions, or misalignments that may be causing pain, discomfort, or other health issues. These restrictions can occur due to surgery, trauma, infection, or chronic stress, leading to impaired organ function and a ripple effect throughout the body.

  • Craniosacral Therapy (CST), a gentle, hands-on treatment method that focuses on the craniosacral system. This system includes the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord, as well as the bones of the skull, spine, and sacrum.

Craniosacral Therapy involves very light touch, typically no more than the weight of a nickel, to assess and release restrictions in the craniosacral system. The therapist gently works to improve the flow of cerebrospinal fluid and restore balance to the central nervous system. This can help reduce pain, alleviate stress and tension, and enhance overall health.

The therapy is based on the idea that the body’s natural healing processes can be supported by enhancing the function of the craniosacral system. It’s often used to treat a variety of conditions, including headaches, migraines, chronic pain, TMJ disorders, anxiety, and trauma-related issues. Craniosacral Therapy is suitable for people of all ages, from infants to the elderly, and is often considered a holistic approach because it addresses the whole person—mind, body, and spirit.

  • "Lymphatic Balancer" refers to techniques aimed at improving the flow and function of the lymphatic system, a crucial part of the body’s immune and waste removal processes. The lymphatic system includes a network of vessels, nodes, and organs that help remove toxins, waste, and other unwanted materials from the body. It also plays a significant role in maintaining fluid balance and supporting the immune system.

Lymphatic Balancing is often achieved through methods such as Lymphatic Drainage Massage (also known as Manual Lymphatic Drainage, or MLD), a gentle, rhythmic massage technique that encourages the movement of lymph fluid through the body. This helps reduce swelling, detoxify the body, and promote healing and well-being. The technique can be particularly beneficial for individuals recovering from surgery, those with lymphedema, or anyone seeking to enhance their overall health.
